SIS started in the UK in the early 1990’s as management reporting specialists, providing complex reporting solutions to corporations such as Lombard Natwest Bank and Bullough PLC. Its practical approach and business expertise soon ensured that SIS was ideally placed to take advantage of the expansion opportunities in the then emerging Russian market. Leveraging a strong understanding of business processes, SIS opened offices in Moscow and quickly won ERP contracts with multinational companies such as Tetra Pak, Alpha Laval, and Sandvik against internationally recognised consulting houses. By 1997, SIS was supporting many eminent multinational clients in Russia.

In 1998 SIS opened offices in South Africa and has expanded from a single owner-based company into a group of companies currently operating in the IT solution marketplace. This expansion brought with it extended service offerings through the group companies, but SIS has maintained its focus as an autonomous consulting and implementation services specialist. In 2006 SIS Global opened a regional office in Kwazulu-Natal to support the local market demand for enterprise solutions and consulting services.

SIS’s diverse beginning paved the way for the culture of delivering innovative solutions through hard work, commitment and a “can-do” attitude. The companies continued success is proven in the AxPact Alliances selection of SIS as the South African partner in 2007.

In 2009 SIS was awarded the Microsoft Business Solutions Partner of the Year as well as the Microsoft President’s Club proving the level of the expertise and experience of the company.

In recent years SIS has ramped up its industry alignment initiatives and has delivered successful projects in Intermodal Transport and Logistics, Professional Services, Education and Process Manufacturing.

Driven by a strong leadership team, SIS is actively working on increasing its capabilities and alignment in these industries as well as emerging industries and geographies. Supported by our alliance partners and strong Microsoft relationship, SIS is actively pursuing the global market.
